thanksgiving 2010

can you believe thanksgiving has come and gone?
we had a fun day..
the keetch's hosted a lovely dinner
and we played a very intense game of bingo.
here are a few pictures of the festivities

everyone hanging out

i am pretty sure i am telling kurt to get some good pictures...
and this is what we got!

all the kiddies having fun

she would rather play than eat

i love this pic of kurt and grets
i am so grateful for these two..
they are my life!
we had a scary experience on tuesday..
one that made me realize how fast life can change.
to make a looong story short,
i took greta to her 9 month check up on monday
and everything was great + normal.
i told the doc she has not been wanting to eat lately
but we did not really talk much more about it.
throughout that day she was very sleepy and not really wanting to eat.
come tuesday i went to work early that morning
and talked to kurt around 9am.
he said grets was still asleep but he was checking on her and she was fine.
an hour or so later he felt like he should wake her up
and when he did she was not acting like herself.
she was very lethargic and not really responsive.
around this time i was getting ready to leave work
and kurt called and was panicked and said
she was not acting normal.
i am so thankful kurt called
911 when he did
and that he was calm and knew what to do -
because i know that i would have been hysterical!
when i got home the ambulance and fire truck were at my house.
i walked in and my poor baby did not look like herself.
the emt's said she had very low blood sugar so
we took her to the hospital and for the next 6 hours
they checked her and did many tests.
fortunately, everything came back normal
but she is still not back to her old self
and still does not have an appetite
so if anyone has any advice on how to get her to eat
i would greatly appreciate it!

we hope you all had a fun and safe thanksgiving!

That's really scary. They don't know what's wrong? When Ella won't eat, I give her formula. That ensures she has all her nutrients. Hope they find out what wrong soon. Let me know!

When Jonathan won't eat I give him a baby food that is plum brand. It's in a pouch so we can squeeze it. He loves them. I get them at babies r us!
