we had a lovely easter sunday..

good food, family, greta's first easter egg hunt!

on saturday we braved the cold and the rain

and attended a couple family picnics...

why is it always bad weather on easter?!

greta not really enjoying the 4 wheeler, but really enjoying some cheese

we had to get a picture of all the little ladies that were born this past year!

i have to say how much i loved this book!
i have been wanting to read it for awhile now,
and it exceeded my expectations!
really, you should read it.

and now i am really excited to see the movie..
even though in some of the previews
i think robert pattinson looks strange?!

..fourteen..

today is greta's fourteen month birthday!
and she has some big news to announce
.....
she is now walking!!!
i never thought the day would come,
but she is on a roll and can not be stopped!

her favorite word is still dad,

and she likes to scream it whenever she pleases.

she also says "gog" (dog)

"boon" (balloon)

she has a small balloon obsession

and loves to point and stare whenever she sees one.

she is still the best baby ever,

we love you grets!



another birthday wish..

... this may be a little out of reach,

but i have been wanting an iphone

ever since they came out.

but why are they so much

$$$$

?!?!

sometimes we like to call grets "puppy"

because she loves to carry things in her mouth!

she did it all the time when she first started crawling,

and now that she is "walking"

she still likes to transport her favorite toys in her mouth!

the farm

yesterday, grets and i -

along with becky and kate

went to thanksgiving point's farm country.

and wow,

was it fun!

no really,

the weather was so nice,

and grets liked seeing all the animals.

she is so excited!

and then insisted on getting off

..lucky thirteen..

thirteen months today!

a day in the life of greta goodman:

she is obsessed at looking at pictures of herself..

she likes to point and say "reta"

 she likes to tease us and act like she is going to walk...

but she refuses to walk without some sort of assistance!

why walk when crawling is so much faster?

hopefully soon she will stop being so scared and just go for it!

can you tell greta is a screamer?

she can have quite the temper when things are not going her way!

she loves to scream in her car seat, at church, wherever her little heart desires..

she loves to play with her toys

and is very content being on the floor exploring.

she is still a book nerd,

but we have to watch her very carefully

because she can have the spine of a book chewed on in no time!

this is what our weekend consisted of -

grets started running a fever friday night,

and it has been all down hill from there!

she will not eat,

she insists on being held and rocked constantly,

 she only wants her bottle -

and that results in vomiting.

it is a vicious cycle!

i don't think there is anything worse than a sick baby.

please feel better soon!
