i love this picture of grets and kurt's parents..

taken on saturday during the fireworks at the rodeo.

thirteen reasons why...

i just finished this book

and can not stop thinking about it!

the story is about a high school girl

who commits suicide

and tape records the thirteen reasons why

and sends the tapes to those people.

it sounds morbid,

but it is so interesting-

i finished the book in one day.

it is a young adult novel which

makes it a really fast and easy read.

if you are looking for a new book,

read this one!

this crazy lady is now 16 months old!

she is into EVERYTHING right now

and wants to be outside constantly!

her new favorite word is "huggies"

thanks to her uncle jake.

she loves to hug and give kisses

and loves to play with her cousins.

day 1

day 2

enjoying a lovely dip in the pool!

we thought grets would love it like she did last summer,

but no such luck...

she lasted 5 minutes

back at dland

but i love bo's face!

we told him we were going on an elevator

and he loved it!

disneyland truly is a magical place,

greta has never eaten or slept so much

as she did there!

as you can tell from this picture,

this is when all hell broke loose

and kurt started feeling sick!

day 3

last day!

despite the drive, the heat, and kurt getting pneumonia

it was such a fun trip!

i am so sad i missed greta's 15 month birthday!

may 18th flew right on by.

where has this month gone?

miss greta

is loving life these days.

she has become so independent!

she loves to

walk around,

explore,

read her books,

ride her pony,

play with her ball,

play with chloe and her cousins,

and has finally started saying

MAMA!

she has been very naughty aound bed/nap time

whick i am not too happy about.

she likes to wake up every night around 3am!

i am hoping she grows out of that quickly!

but good or bad,

she is the cutest

little monkey!

and she loves to show it off to everyone!

lately she has been obsessed

with her pink pony...

which is actually pretty surprising

because when she got it for her birthday

she wanted nothing to do with it!
